The Marines Toys For Tots drive in Yakima is hoping for a big surge of donations. Coordinator First Sgt. Michael Lilly says donations are down by thousands when compared to this same time last year. So far Lilly says they've collected only about 28 hundred toys. He says they need 10 thousand new toys for infants to 12 years old by December 19th when the toys are distributed. Lilly is hoping for a big surge in donations within the next week and a half. You'll find Toys for Tots boxes located at businesses and other facilities throughout the Yakima Valley.
