Three Yakima Police Officers On Paid Leave Investigation Underway

Three officers with the Yakima Police Department could be fired for misconduct according to an article in today's Yakima Herald Republic. The paper names three as Detective Gary Garza and Patrol Officers Ryan Urlacher and Chad Urwin. Garza is accused of allegedly placing a false statement on a search warrant request. The other two officers are accused of falsifying expense reports. The paper says all three are now on paid leave as an internal investigation is underway.
