Earlier this week KIT News told you the Yakima County Health District was working with local doctors to stop a respiratory outbreak that has infected children in 12 states.

Today, the health district is reporting that three kids from Yakima are now at Seattle Children's Hospital being tested for the virus that has hospitalized kids in other states. District officials say the three children from the Yakima Valley are part of a bigger group of 14 kids that have been sent to the Seattle hospital this month for testing.

None of the tests so far have confirmed the respiratory virus. Test results are expected early next week.
