It's not out yet but firefighters have nearly doused the South Wenas Fire. The fire has burned about 4.7 square miles but no structures were lost and no injuries were reported. The fire started early Tuesday in the 4900 block of Wenas Road. At the height of the fire more than 150 firefighters were on the fire lines including helicopters and crews from the State Department of Natural Resources. Local crews are now on the fire lines. Evacuation orders have been lifted. The cause remains under investigation.  No injuries have been reported. The last update from firefighters put the fire at 80 percent contained.
