Inproved Traffic Flow In Yakima

The configuration of the intersection of Summitview Avenue, Yakima Avenue, and 7th Avenue is being revised in order to improve traffic flow.

Next Tuesday (February 28th), City crews will reduce the number of eastbound Summitview lanes at the intersection from three to two.  Currently, two of the Summitview lanes

Major Roadwork In Yakima Next Week Slowing Commutes

Drivers are being encouraged to avoid the intersection of 5th Avenue and Tieton Drive most of next week while a grind and overlay project is underway.

From next Monday, July 11th through next Thursday, July 14th, the intersection will be closed to traffic each day from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm
