It is not to late to get a flu shot with the number of cases being recorded in the state and the nation. Brian Weihs is Director of Respiratory Services at Yakima's Memorial Hospital who says if you have had the flu and are feeling better get that flu shot to avoid getting sick again
This is a tough flu season. New numbers show it is especially bad in Kittitas County. In the past month, Kittitas Valley Community Hospital has seen 120 cases of flu. That is a record number. Doctors say many people are not taking the measures they need to in order to stay healthy
The Yakima Fire Department is preparing for a possible outbreak in the flu virus after thousands of people across the country have been sickened by the virus. Fire department officials say the number of flu cases is expected to be on the rise in the next few weeks so they say now is a great time to get a flu shot
