If you know someone looking to work in the great outdoors  next summer take note. There are more than 100 jobs available in positions ranging from archeology to trails to fire suppression with numerous opportunities to care for the land and serve people across the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.

The clock is ticking wit all summer job applications needing to be submitted online at www.usajobs.gov between September 17 and October 12, 2018.
This is not exactly the office cubicle kind of a gig - with the forest stretching from the Canadian border to the Goat Rocks Wilderness south of I-90.  Seasonal Forest Service employees are needed to help provide clean water, abundant wildlife habitat, sustainable forest products, wildfire support, incredible recreation, and much more across 4.2 million acres.
Applications will be accepted only through the USAjobs website. Potential applicants are encouraged to access the website early to allow time to create or update their user accounts. Job announcement numbers, an interactive job map, and other resources are available at go.usa.gov/xUSTa.
