Time to stitch the City's 2012 budget together and right now it's not looking good.  The city is nearly two-million short of being able to provide current staffing and service.  Are you prepared to live with fewer police, reduced code inspection, higher fees, fewer open hours for clerk service and more? OR...are you willing to support a 6% utility tax increase to cover the shortfall?  It would amount to about a $6 a month increase for the average home.  It's your town, it's your call.  Tighten the belt or open the wallet?

Take our poll and let us know what you think.
