SR 823 Work To Slow Traffic

Crews are putting the pedal to the metal on the SR 823 reroute project in Selah. Crews are paving portions of S. First Street, S. Wenas Avenue and E. Naches Avenue starting Monday, July 11, through Friday, July 15.

Drivers need to be aware of the following lane restrictions:

· S. Wenas Avenue remains closed between Naches and E. First Avenue

· E. Third Avenue is closed to all vehicles except local and business traffic

· SR 823 from E. Fremont Avenue to E. Naches Avenue have possible single lane closures on Wednesday, July 13 through Friday, July 15 from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m.

· E. Fifth Avenue is temporarily closed to all traffic through July 15

· Flaggers will direct traffic through a northbound single lane closure on S. First Street between Riverview Avenue and E. Fourth Street Friday, July 15, from 5 a.m. through 3 p.m.

Please use the E. Goodlander Road detour to access the eastside of Selah. Drivers can also access businesses from First Avenue as an alternate route.
