If you have a driveway or a sidewalk on or in front of your property the sound of a shovel was probably a familiar sound this weekend. Lots of snow fell in the valley over the weekend. The National Weather Service has issued a storm warning that doesn't end until 4:00 p.m. No official word on how much snow fell but many areas saw more than 4 to 8 inches or more of the white stuff. And more is in the forecast today and on Wednesday. We have some school delays Today. And if you're driving mountain passes make sure you check conditions before you drive. Snoqualmie Pass remains closed this morning because of heavy snow.
Area plow drivers were busy plowing parking lots to get ready for Monday business. And hardware stores were selling salt and snow shovels at a fast past both Saturday and Sunday.
