Slow Down Or Pay Up!

Did you know 20 percent of all fatality crashes involve speeding drivers? The average speeding ticket is 156 dollars. City, County and State officials will be handing out those tickets and trying to save lives during a special speed emphasis patrol that starts Friday in Yakima and Klickitat counties. It continues through August 7th. The patrols are funded by the State Traffic Commission. The extra money allows agencies to put more officers on the road during the patrols.
