Shakira’s Past Was Not Without Platinum Problems — Dave’s Diary

The controversy over Miley Cyrus and her ridiculous performance on MTV a few days back got me to thinking about some of today’s female music stars.

Cyrus was a child megastar as Disney’s Hannah Montana and now she’s trying now to break free of that teeny bopper image and forge a career for an older audience..

So, while checking out the background of some other Superstars of today I discovered some didn’t do so well when they were younger–Case in point– Latin bombshell Shakira did not make the cut for her school choir.

Can you guess why?

Her music teacher said she “sounded like a goat” when she sang.

Every guy I know thinks she’s come a long waa-aa-aaa-aay since then!
