Second Arrest Made in West Valley Homicide

Yakima County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a second person in connection with a murder investigation.

Deputies say a 30-year-old man has been booked into the Yakima County Jail in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Jose Silva. The man's name has not been released nor any information on how he was involved in the murder.

Silva's body was found on Jan. 6 in the backyard of an abandoned house on Mahre Road.

Deputies have already arrested 23-year-old Walter Garcia in connection with the murder. Garcia is in jail on $500,000 bail.
