Drivers need to plan for added travel time next week due to rock blasting and single lane closures on Interstate 90 east of Snoqualmie Pass

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and contractor crews will close I-90 in both directions from Gold Creek (milepost 56) to the Price Creek Sno Park (milepost 61) for rock blasting Monday, Sept. 26 through Thursday, Sept. 29, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each night.

Drivers may experience delays on Monday, Sept. 26 through Saturday, Oct. 1 due to rolling slowdowns and single-lane westbound and eastbound closures on I-90 between Hyak (milepost 55) and the Keechelus Dam vicinity (milepost 60).

On Monday, Sept. 26, at 6 a.m., through Friday, Sept. 30, at 12 p.m., drivers may experience delays associated with a single-lane westbound closure two miles west of the Snoqualmie Pass Summit.

Drivers will also run into delays due to single-lane closures in both directions Sunday, Sept. 25, through Friday, Sept. 30 between Easton (milepost 70) and Cle Elum (milepost 80) as crews work to replace the right eastbound lane. Crews will open two lanes eastbound and one lane westbound on Friday, Sept. 30, at 9 a.m., through Sunday, Oct. 2 at 9 a.m. On Sunday, Oct. 2, at 9 a.m., crews will open two lanes westbound and one lane eastbound.
