Road/Rail Repairs Hinder Toppenish Traffic Next Week

Heads up on Hiway 97.  The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has issued a Travel Advisory due to emergency railroad repairs which are expected  to cause minor delays for drivers on US 97 near Toppenish next week

On Monday, June 11 through Friday, June 15 during daylight hours, the southbound and northbound lanes will be reduced to one lane and shifted around the railroad crossing at the intersections of US 97 and McDonald Road and US 97 and S Martin Road.

WSDOT advised drivers to plan for added travel time through the area.
