Police Searching For Stabbing Suspect

Police in Union Gap are searching for 31-year-old Zachary Lee Barrett in connection with a stabbing at a business on Main Street in Union Gap on Tuesday. Police say Barrett stabbed the 37-year-old victim in the chest and arm during a fight in the parking lot of the Slow Burn store in the 4000 block of Main Street. But police say the fight had nothing to do with the business. The victim is in critical but stable condition at a Yakima hospital Today. One woman driving the car away from the incident was arrested for criminal assistance. Police are still searching for the suspect.
