Police Say Boyfriend Tried To Save Girlfriend After Beating

An autopsy is set to happen today on the body of A 39 year old Felicia Brooks. The Yakima woman was killed on Wednesday after police say she was beaten by her 54 year old boyfriend on Wednesday morning. Lt. Mike Merryman says when officers arrived at the East Walnut apartment it didn’t' take long to figure out that brooks 54 year old boyfriend, Richard Roberson was the suspect. Roberson is sitting in the county jail facing a murder charge this week in county superior court. Police haven't released the motive in the crime. Police say Roberson called 911 and was performing CPR when police arrived.
