Police Investigating Another Murder from Friday

Yakima Police are investigating their second homicide in one day.

KNDO is reporting that officers responded to the report of a man down at a motel in the 400 block of North Front Street around 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The body of a 27-year-old man was found lying in the parking lot with injuries to his chest and head. The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators are ruling this death as a murder right now. Detectives are currently working to locate and notify the victim's family. His name has not been released.
