Pierce County Deputy Remembered On Law Appreciation Day

It’s National Law Appreciation day  across the land and for all the good they do, not everyone appreciates the sacrifice and dangers faced by our men and women in uniform.  Sadly today was a day to say goodbye to one of law enforcement’s fallen warriors as reflected in this post from the Washington State Patrol

Today more than ever, we are reminded of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. On National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, the State of Washington mourns the loss of Pierce County Sheriff's Department Deputy Daniel McCartney. As we celebrate the work of our brothers and sisters in blue around the country, we also remember the sacrifices too many officers make. Thank you everyone for your support and appreciation.
