kit

Yakima’s Eisenhower High School will say goodbye to its Little Theater this month. The last play starts Thursday in the facility in which thousands have acted in or enjoyed performances. Ike’s Little Theater is being closed and eventually torn down to make way for a new school and new theater. Eisenhower Drama Instructor Janie Peterson says the last play will be Annie Get Your Gun.

The first play, Our Town opened in 1959. The last play opens on Feb. 14. Tickets will be available at the door. After the play closes, the theater will close as well to make way for the new Eisenhower High School and new theater. That is expected to be open this fall.
