No Arrests Yet In Shooting In Yakima Victim Shot In The Face

An 18 year old man was shot in the face in a shooting in the area of 8th Street and D Street at about 7:30 last night. Yakima Police were called to the intersection where they found evidenc of a shooting but no victim. A short time later officials with a Yakima hospital called police to let them know the 18 year old had arrived in a private vehicle and was being treated for a wound to his face. The man hasn't been identified. Police say the wound is serious. No arrests have been made as police continue to investigate.
