New Yakima City Manager Could Be Named Soon

The Yakima City Council has set July 12th and 13th to interview the three top finalists for the job of Yakima City Manager. The top three are; Don Cooper, Timothy Hacker and Jim Payne. Cooper has served as city manager in Port St. Lucie Florida. Hacker has served as city manager in Mesquite Nevada and Payne was the city manager of Rio Rancho New Mexico. City officials say they plan to interview the candidates and choose the next city manager as soon as July 19th.
