Two personal questions.  Are you as happy as you would like to be?  Do you make your bed each morning?  Most people skip making the bed in the morning, but a neatly made bed could be the key to a better day.   According to a hunch.com survey, reported in Elite Daily, only 27 percent of people make their bed every morning,  but 71 percent of bed makers are happy.  Meanwhile, a whopping 62 percent of those who leave their bed messy report that they are unhappy.  Psychology Today explains that bed makers are also more likely to enjoy their jobs, work out regularly, and get more sleep.

But don’t take our word on it.  Listen to what 4-star Admiral William McRaven told the students of the University of Texas at graduation last year. The Admiral is a 36 year career naval seal and was tasked with planning the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden.  He’s as serious a Naval Seal as they get. He’s now the chancellor of U.T. and his speech to the grads that day went viral, being seen by more than 3-million You Tube viewers.

He shared the Ten Things that being a Seal taught him.  At 6 minutes and 10 seconds into his address he told the graduates of the University of Texas that if they wanted to change the world they should start by making their bed.  Psychology Today- maybe.  Head Seal – definitely!   Hooyah!
