For now the Yakima County jail is the place where 26-year-old Manuel Enrique Verduzco is staying. The double murder suspect in the March 26 fatal shooting of two Moneytree employees in Yakima had bail set at $1 million shortly after his arrest on the day Yakima Police say Verduzco of Selah killed Marta Martinez and Karina Morales-Rodriguez. But on friday Yakima County Superior Court Judge Gayle Harthcock revoked Verduzo's bail. Yakima County Prosecutor Joe Brusic says he's now reviewing evidence to determine if he'll ask a jury to impose the death.
Verduczo is being held on two counts of aggravated first degree murder. Yakima Police say he shot the two ladies as they were opening the store on an early Saturday morning in March.
Police continue to investigate the case.
