The Yakima City Council will be talking about the former mill site property along I-82 at Tuesday's city council meeting.

City Manager Tony O'Rourke says the council will see a new study of the mill site property that focuses on the best use of the site and how to practically market the plan for the site. He says the Seattle company that did the report Jones Lang Lasalle knows real estate, being one of the largest companies in the world.

They have knowledge of the type of client that have an interest and a need for this kind of space so the report is based on real world facts.

O'Rourke says there's a lot of work that needs to be completed at the site including a major environmental cleanup and road work. City officials are determined to develop the area to help boost the local economy.

The council meets at 6:00 P.M. at city hall.
