Infrared surveillance cameras at the Arizona/Mexico border have captured images of Mexican drug smugglers using a nine-foot-tall catapult to hurl 45-pound bags of marijuana over a border wall and into the U.S.
The smugglers had set the catapult up about 20 yards away from the wall, and appear to have been doing their illicit catapulting late at night. U.S. authorities alerted the Mexican army to what was going on, but by the time they arrived at the catapult the smugglers had escaped.
