Man’s Body Found No Arrests

The discovery of a body of a man today in the 2000 block of Cowiche Mill Road has launched a murder investigation by the Yakima County Sheriff's office. Det. Sgt. Mike Russel says someone driving in the area found the body and contacted authorities. Russel says it appears the man suffered gunshot wounds. No cars or people were around when authorities arrived and no arrest has been made. An investigation is now underway.
