45-year-old John Munzanreder has been sentenced to 28 years in prison for the February 2013 fatal shooting of his wife Cynthia Kelley-Munzanreder in the parking lot of a Union Gap theater. On Thursday his accomplice 24-year-old Juan Ibanez-Cortez was sentenced to 10 years in prison.  Ibanez-Cortes testified against former co-worker, John Munzanreder, as part of his plea deal. Jurors convicted Munzanreder of first-degree murder in February for shooting his wife in the head. Prosecutors say he was having an affair and hoped to collect on a $250,000 life insurance.
Ibanez-Cortes testified that Munzanreder offered him $20,000 to help him kill his wife.
