Man Shot In Drive By Shooting

Yakima Police say a 20-year-old man is being treated at a Seattle hospital after being shot while sitting in his car in the 500 block of East Walnut at about 8:00 p.m. Sunday. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says Mario Santana was sitting in his car in front of his home when he was shot. "He said there was a vehicle that drove by. Shots were fired from that vehicle then it sped off." 20-year-old Santana was hit in the arm. The bullet then continued into his body. He was taken to a local hospital and then transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle overnight. He's expected to make a full recovery. No arrests have been made.
