Man Hit By Car on North First Street In Critical Condition

A car pedestrian accident Tuesday afternoon in the 500 block of North First Street in Yakima has left a 54 year old man in critical condition.

Yakima police say the man was in the middle of the street when he stepped into traffic and was hit by a car.

The driver was not cited. However the Yakima Police Departments Traffic Unit will continue to investigate. Police say drugs or alcohol were not involved.
