The investigation continues into a shooting in Wapato. The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Alan Moses. The Yakima County Coroner ruled Moses’ death a homicide. He says the man had two gunshot wounds to the head. Moses’ body was found Thursday morning near an orchard northwest of Wapato. The coroner said Moses is from either Wapato or Toppenish. This discovery came after a shooting on the Yakama Nation that sent someone to the hospital. Detectives are trying to figure out if the two incidents are connected. No arrests have been made in connection with either incident.
