Large Annual Food Drive to Benefit Northwest Harvest

Granite Construction's annual food drive will take place Saturday, February 22 at two locations in Yakima. The collection sites are at Wray's Market Fresh IGA at 56th and Summitview, and at Fred Meyer at 40th and Fruitvale. Hours are 10 a.m to 6 p.m.

Sheri Bissell, Yakima community engagement specialist with Northwest Harvest said "we can really use the food right now to distribute out to our food banks. We have so many wonderful drives during the holiday season and then it really comes to a stop after that, so I am very grateful for Granite Construction employees and their willingness to help right now. Hunger knows no season unfortunately."
