Keep Your Shoes On But Courthouse Security Looks Like The Airport

Major changes are now in place at the Yakima County Courthouse today. For the first time ever airport style security now exists at the entrance to the courthouse. And only one entrance now is available to the public on the 2nd Street side. Yakima County Commissioner Mike Leita says county officials have been concerned that something bad could happen before the security was in place. And while Leita knows anything can still happen, the security has been ramped up big time to try and prevent a security breach. County officials say with the new security in place today you may need a little extra time getting into the courthouse this week.
