Infant’s Death Under Investigation in Moxee

Moxee Police are investigating the death of an infant Monday KNDO is reporting.

Around 8:30 AM on Monday, Moxee Police and East Valley Fire Department were sent to a house on the 200 block of North Glacier Street for a report of a month-and-a-half-old baby not breathing.

After the initial investigation, Moxee Police arrested the baby's 22-year-old mother, Arrianna Walker. Walker was booked into the Yakima County Jail on a first degree manslaughter charge.

The investigation will continue and more details will be released once the Yakima County Prosecutor's office reviews the case and the Yakima County Coroner's office does an autopsy.
