School is back in session Today in the Highland School District. Officials in the district are working with authorities trying to identify the person or persons responsible for a clown social media post that threatened a Highland school and closed schools in the district on Wednesday. Superintendent Mark Anderson tells KIT News. "We feel it's safe to have kids come back to school. The police department is still investigating. They will be patrolling."
Anderson says he received the threat at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday night and contacted authorities who recommended schools be closed for the day because of the specific threat details. But schools are open Today.
