Happy High Priced Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!  A day set aside for love-and money!
The National Retail Federation says America's sweethearts will spend about 136 dollars today buying flowers, jewelry, candy, clothing and more. Add it up and the high cost of love is about  $18.2 billion.

--Nearly four in 10 plan to treat their dates to a night out at a restaurant, tickets to a show or another experience at a cost of $3.8 billion dollars
--Another $4.3 billion will be spent on necklaces, earrings and other jewelry items
--$1.4 billion will be spent on gift cards or gift certificates.
-- $2 billion will be spent on flowers.
--1 Billion will go for greeting cards--so we hope you pick and receive a good

And don't forget Fido!  Americans will also spend $681 million to treat their favorite pets to some sort of Valentine’s Day gift.
