The cost of gas in Yakima is up approximately three cents to $3.82 per gallon over the past week according to GasBuddy.com. In Yakima, the average price for gas is six cents below the state average, but is nine cents higher than the price in the Tri-Cities.

The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Washington is $3.88.

That's up 9 cents in a week, and it's 27 cents higher than the national average.
