Yakima County Sheriff's deputies say a shooting in White Swan Wednesday night was triggered by the victims truck being parked to close to the suspects driveway. Detective Sgt. Mike Russel says "the suspect went out to confront the victim. Armed himself before doing that and then moments later the victim was shot and killed." Russel says the suspect 53-year-old Lynden Asbell and his 66-year-old neighbor had been in a long standing dispute over a number of issues. The 53-year-old suspect called 911 after the shooting admitting he had just shot his neighbor and was going to play cards until deputies arrived. Deputies arrived and took the man into custody. He's being held on a murder charge in the county jail.
