Former Yakima Police Officer Trying To Keep Credentials

Former Yakima Police Sergeant Erik Hildebrand is fighting to keep his own credentials. Hildebrand resigned while under an internal investigation. His ability to work as an officer again is now in the hands of the state. The Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission will review whether he can keep his credentials. The city of Yakima sent his materials to the commission earlier this week.
There is no word when a decision will be made.
