Fire Destroys Sports Car. No Injuries, Except The Car

A big fire on Hawks Point Drive in the Gleed area destroyed a garage containing a sports car and sent a large plume of black smoke over the area yesterday afternoon. No injuries were reported. Firefighters were called to the home late yesterday morning when the homeowner was working on a car in his garage. Authorities say the cause is under investigation but it started in the garage. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to the house.
