Fire At Former Furniture Store Under Investigation

Damage is estimated at 1 hundred thousand dollars after a fire burned the front of the former Schultz furniture building Saturday night. Firefighters believe someone may have been trying to warm themselves with a small fire in front of the building on North 5th Avenue when it caught some wood siding on fire. The flames were quickly doused when firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported.
