Elderly Selah Man Asssaulted during Home Invasion Robbery

Yakima County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a robbery in Selah reported Saturday morning. Two suspects burst into an elderly man’s home and assault him while as they tear through his home looking for valuables.  Authorities say it was reported early Saturday morning at the home on Quail Ridge Road. The man who uses a wheelchair says the two suspects tied him up as they searched for cash and jewelry. When he told them he didn’t have anything he was assaulted. After the suspects fled he was able to free himself and get to the front door where he yelled for help. A neighbor was able to contact the Yakima County Sheriff’s office.  The man was treated at his home but not taken to the hospital.
