What do you know about mood altering foods?   If you remember the 60’s you may remember mood altering, but with foods?

How about this one..”They call me mellow yellow”….Donovan’s hit song from 1967.   Put them both together and what do you get?

How about yellow food to improve your mood!

New research shows that eating yellow foods releases the level of so-called “happy hormones”.  The color stimulates the left side of the brain and 70-percent of a thousand respondents associate yellow foods with feeling cheerful.

Omelets are the top happy food, followed by macaroni and cheese, bananas, pancakes and poached eggs rounding out the top five.

Researchers say that while blueberries may be stuffed with antioxidants, they won't improve a blue mood.
