Drug Bust Suspect Who Tries to Run Over Law Authorities is Shot

A man was shot by police in the parking lot of the Home Depot on South First Street yesterday. The shooting happened after a drug bust when the suspect tried to run over police with his car while trying to escape. He hit several vehicles before he was shot by one of the officers. There were nine law enforcement officers from several agencies involved in the operation. None of those officers were injured. The suspect is being treated at local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. A second man was also taken in custody.
