It's almost back to school time. If your child attends Lewis and Clark middle school you need to know the school is switching to a more standardized dress code. Students will have to wear grey, purple, or white polos with jeans, khakis or black pants. The change came at parents' request to help with safety issues in school. "You know (uniforms will help to) crack down on gang colors and gang violence," said parent Dawn Hanson. "There are some T-shirts out there with some stuff on it that I don't think is appropriate for middle school or grade school." This is now the fourth school in the Yakima School District to switch to the stricter dress code.
