Guilty Pleasure for Dave!  DEEP PURPLE lead singer IAN GILLAN is not a fan of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The band has been on the ballot three times, but Gillan told ClassicRock.com that the Hall's head honchos are - "bloody arrogant and rude."

He's especially upset because someone on the nominating committee called Deep Purple "one hit wonders." Ian quipped  "I couldn't figure out whether that hit was "Hush," "Kentucky Woman," "Black Night," "Strange Kind Of Woman," "Child In Time," "Perfect Strangers," "Knocking At Your Back Door," or perhaps even "Smoke On The Water."

We'll find out soon if Purple makes the cut for the Class of 2016. Meanwhile, GillIan says the group will start recording its 20th album in late January.
