Where is the number one place you could go to find a list of the names of all the people in the United States?  Social Security Administration?  That would be correctamundo!  A quick visit there reveals this is the 13th year in a row that "Jacob" is the number one name for a baby boy, according to the annual list of the most popular American baby names.  So what’s in a name there Shakespeare? Well, originating from the Old Testament, Jacob means "supplanter."   Yes it’s Biblical but then again supplanter means  ”one who wrongly seizes the place of another”.  See Genesis 27:1-28 .

On the lady’s side  "Sophia" is the supplanter knocking Isabella off the top of the list, after a two-year reign. Sophia is an ancient Greek name that means "wisdom."  Check out this year’s Top Ten baby Names…hey, where’s Dave and Lance?
