Well, it’s good to know I’ll have company… lots and lots of company. I’m referring to familiar wrinkled faces in the future workplace. A recent poll tells the story of the lack of financial preparedness by a lot of us baby boomers. Only 11 percent of baby boomers -- the 77 million people born between 1946 and 1964 -- say they are strongly convinced they will be able to retire and live in financial comfort. The rest aren't so sure.

55 percent acknowledge they are somewhat or very certain they can retire with financial security, a whopping 44 percent have little or no faith they'll have enough money to retire. That's the from an Associated Press-LifeGoesStrong.com poll.

Look for me in the 25 percent line where I’ll either be a burden to my kids or wife -- much like the 19 million other boomers who expect to work their entire life no matter how long they live since they have no retirement savings at all.

Radio is like the grasshopper and the ant - the more we jump, the less we save!
