Republican leaders are accusing Democrats of moving the nation closer to the fiscal cliff by refusing to outline possible spending cuts.   4th District Congressman Doc Hastings tells KIT News that he's frustrated because the House has already passed a budget with spending cuts and he says the Democrats have done nothing.  Hastings says "The campaign is over, we knew the fiscal cliff was coming, you have to have all sides willing to negotiate and you have to deal with the spending entitlement side of the equation. We have done that in the house but the Senate and the President have not put anything forward."   House leader John Boehner today said the Republicans are willing to endorse higher tax revenues but only as part of a deal that includes savings from Medicare and other government benefit programs.
