We are drawn to people with confidence and we willingly give our belief to those who exhibit confidence perhaps more than we should!  Carry yourself with confidence, speak with confidence and people will perceive you as a leader and a winner. Are you a confident speaker? tition. Their results were compared against a control group of students.

Here’s the cool part.  They discovered that the confident speakers actually had less activity in an area of the brain associated with articulating and comprehending speech.  Those that were good actually used their brains less than the less confident speakers did.

This suggests that the more confident speakers actually had to put less effort into the basic mechanics of speech setting up their advantage.  This ease with the basics allowed them more brain resources to devote to figuring out what they were going to say next.    I concur!  (Daily Mail)
